Semi permanent parking
Hi all,
I’m new here and to house-trucking in general. Though it’s something I’ve thought about for many years.
Have just left Great Barrier Island after twenty years and moved to Thames.
Not happy here so I now have my house on the market and intend to by a rolling home with the proceeds.
What concerns me with living permanently in a bus or truck is where to park long term as my touring will likely be occasional.
Does anyone know of any like minded groups of house truckers that have a place to park up, long term and don’t mind others joining in? Camp grounds don’t do it for me and are expensive. North island only and prefer in or around Auckland.

Actually I have just been offered the use of 26 acres in Northland at no cost.
Once I get myself set up I will post the address so others can stop over.
Lenny , finding a long term park up for low cost is rarely possible , unless you know the owner.
Most mobile people get away with low cost due to being constantly on the move .
That\’s why we have a \”mobile\” home.
Perhaps you could look at buying a section to park on .
Then we could all come visit for a while (for low cost)
